     Leadership - Supervise scientific or technical personnel and lead all team building for a collaboration environment

     Research - Conduct research in molecular, cellular, and/or biochemical experimental biology and prepare technical reports and recommendations based upon research outcomes

     Passion for Learning - Study growth, structure, development, and general characteristics of bacteria and other microorganisms to understand their relationship to human, plant, and animal health

     Laboratory Expertise - Lead and use a variety of specialized equipment such as electron microscopes, gas chromatographs, and high pressure liquid chromatographs, electrophoresis units, thermocyclers, fluorescence activated cell sorters and phosphor imagers

 

What were looking for:

     Phd in Molecular, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Cellular Biology or related field is required

     Post-doctoral research, training, and experience desired

     Research experience in molecular biology, plant biology, and genetics

     Strong record of independent research and peer-reviewed publications

     Classification of Organisms - Knowledge of plant and animal organisms, their tissues, cells, functions, interdependencies, and interactions with each other and the environment

     Scientific rules - ability to use scientific rules and methods to solve problems including preparing biological samples for testing or analysis

     Communication Impact - strong written and verbal communication skills internally and externally for the needs of the target audience
